Hi,
Is it true that the old (i.e., July 1st - July 29th) filing fees still apply through July 27th - August 17th? The new fees (which would have been applicable from July 30th) will now be applicable from August 18th, right?
Is this true for I-485, I-765 and I-131 forms?

Hello im a senior in high school, i was wondering if anyone could guide me...what do i do? i want a carrer in web design but should i go to a Art Insititute and stud multimedia and web design or should i go to a regular college and study it there? i have no idea...i have done my research but could anyone help me on my way? thanks a lot... My daughter (5 yrs) is an US citizen and having passport valid until end of Sep 2009 and having POI card for 15 years from Indian consulate.
Now I am planning to take her to India for 3 weeks from Aug 1st week. The travel agents says her passport should have at least 6 months valid from the date of date of the return (Aug 4th week). Is that true/correct? Can she enter here in USA after her India visit with 20 days left in the passport validity?
I will be using my AP though I maintain H1B status (I-797) and work for the same employer.

Filed I 485 mid June. I'm in the same boat as you, did not get receipt date. I hope they do not send the application back... I was wondering if the July bulletin affects those who filed I 485 in June.

SEP Visa Bulletin is OUT...surprisingly EB2 INDIA 01APR2004, but it was U in the AUG...what is going on....does it mean who ever PD is prior to that date get GC...??

I am a new member. I read some of the posts on this website and know that there are some Singaporeans in this thread who have applied for the H1B1 visa under the US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement. Questions:
1. How long does the process of applying for the USSFTA H1-B1 take?
2. Where is the best place to apply for the USSFTA H1-B1 visa?
Please advise especially if you have already done it. I am about to start the process. Any advice is highly appreciated.

For every case being busted, there are many many undetected cases. It is called legal arbitrage, with other areas being tightened amd under attack and marriage based being relatively untouched, it is a matter of time that one will increase.

Hi,
I applied for EAD renewal to Nebraska center on Dec 12th.
So far I didn't received the receipt and also my check didn't get cashed.
Did anybody encounter similar situation. If so please let me know what you have done.

Dear friends,
My post regarding calling up the members after registration has apparently disturbed some members, first let me apologize for that and for some postings regarding that matter. The calling option was ONLY intended to ward of unwanted and vicious members using this forum to work against our goals.
I understand that a lot of non-indians are in this forum(for instance, Greg Siskind quotes from these forums a lot), and my post could be interpreted as being against non-indians, but it was not the intention.
I am sorry once again.

On mar 12th I got a query on I-485.
It says.
The Documentation submitted with your application and/or a review of service records indicate that you no longer reside in the same state or geographical location as the underlying form i-140 immigration petitioner and /or job location specified by your intended permanent employer.
There fore submit a currently dated letter from your original form I-140 employer which which address this discrepancy.
I filed my labor and I-140 I was in california, i moved to different state since I filed my 485, till now I am with the same employer.
Any gurus who can suggest me on the query would be greatly appreciated.

I was on H1.. but i quit my job and i am currently enrolled as a Full time student.
I need to go to Mexico as part of my Study program....
I have received the change of status from USCIS..but i need to get my passport stamped..
I have not been successful in getting an appointment in Canada....
>> Can i go to mexico and get the visa stamped during my stay there..is it risky???
>> i cam here on F1-h1-now back to F1.... do i have to go to my country of origin to get my visa stamped.
