It may appear to be updating the whole folder, but in fact it is only backing up and alterations since the last back up.

I just want to know. If it's not listed, then comment on which is best.
Also, trackballs count!
Personally I like the Performance MX best, with the Marathon Mouse coming in as second.

Some people obviously don't know the cost of staff downtime. Each day, how much longer does it take windows computer to boot up than a Mac? Minutes longer. Add that up over every single work day. Then add the anti-virus scans, annoying pop ups, etc.
Sure, a Windows machine might take longer to boot than a Mac. But realistically, in a normal office environment computers are left running. This particular point is pretty much moot.
I just saw someone spending 4 hours on the phone with issues of the accounting software not working on windows 7.
Yes, because clearly one data point indicates an industry-wide trend. Check the boards for Applecare horror stories, and those stories are from Apple's target market. Imagine what a nightmare it is when your business depends on uptime and you're told "yeah sorry... you have a small nick on the chassis so we won't replace it."
And it turned out to be the anti-virus, after half a day was wasted (and maybe an hour of my time too). That would have bought a Mac Mini or a new MacBook Air, which can run the same software with ease without security conflicts.
The typical argument of the fanboy... security. Security is a user problem, not a technical problem. I've yet to meet one properly trained employee that has gotten malware on their Windows machine.
Perhaps if you'd like to participate in this discussion further you would consider grounding yourself in reality (and/or subject matter knowledge). Clearly you're in over your head.
Since doing a little more research into it and taking the comments on this forum into account I have changed my opinion on whether or not macs should form part of our IT infrastructure.
It's not so much that Macs do not fit at all into an enterprise environment, it's just that you've made it seem like your entire supply chain, user training, SLA network, etc etc are all geared towards Windows. It doesn't make sense to throw another cog into that system.
I currently have enough trouble simply trying to ensure compatibility between Excel '07 files and Excel '03. Adding Excel for Mac files into the mix will no doubt simply introduce another layer of complexity which is certainly not beneficial. This is indicative of many of the 'small' problems that are typically faced every day in the office, again, no thank you to having any more of those.
Annoying, isn't it? Microsoft certainly isn't perfect.
I spend all day writing reports, specifications, data sheets, e-mails to clients and suppliers etc. All of which require dotting every I and crossing every T from a grammar point of view.
I certainly hope so, but I doubt it. The possessive apostrophe is pretty elementary. Just be careful when you start getting calls from Mac's Computer Hardware.

Japan Nuclear Radiation!!! Are your friends panicked by media coverage of the event? Share this Apps so they can see things are currently normal. You can scroll and zoom around the map. This map visualises crowd-sourced geiger counter reading from across world.
GeigerMap 1.0 is one of the biggest available database for the iPhone when it comes to radiation measurement!
GeigerMap 1.0 grants access to a few thousand measurement stations all over the world, providing data from official measurement stations as well as private measurement stations. The number of measurement stations is growing with each update of the app.
Data of nearby stations are compared to avoid false informations.
How to use: After locating the area where information about radioactivity is needed, the app grants access to informations of the respectively measurement stations.
Unlike other apps claiming to be a real geiger counter this app rather shows regularly updated data from measurement stations all over the world, therefore the results can easily be double checked by comparing with data of other measurement stations.

All the while, the iPhone sales appear to be kicking ass...
Actually, I hate to start a flamewar, but iOS's marketshare seems to have leveled-off at around 25% of people who own smartphones.
http://www.businessinsider.com/android-iphone-market-share-2011-4
Maybe they don't really think that releasing an iPhone in June vs September is really going to matter? Maybe people who that are going to buy the iPhone have already done so and Apple believes that they have this group of people "locked-in"? Maybe they are satisfied with the 25% marketshare because they seem to be making tons of cash of this small, but wealthy group.
As for my iPhone 4, it already seems a bit dated and laggy (takes 10 seconds to open Camera, laggy keyboard when searching in Maps, choppy animations in games). I think this is a software problem though. If Apple came out with a much more efficient and smoother iOS 5 (that made my iPhone 4 feel like a new phone), I would be perfectly satisfied.

Reminds me, must get my old Passat looked at. Needs a service anyway - they can look at the brake failure message i'm getting (probably a sensor as it only happens when cold and turning left!)
Anyway as for the new US model, looks like a bit of the current Polo/Golf styling (EU models anyway - not sure about US versions of them) is going on. Not too sure if I like it, however as I've not got the money and I live on another continent it's not an issue at the moment.

i initilized my drive and cleaned everything off including the os. when i startup, the lilttle mac folder comes up and blinks a question mark. when i put in my os 9 cd it attempts to boot. most of the time, it just doesn't work. others, it will start to load stuff, then just freezes. i am starting to think that my disk is flawed. what do you think? what should i do?

I think google has a lock on the map thing. I can't see apple employees driving around remapping the world to get their own data base
Why not? The USA for example has only 4 million miles of roads. A car with driver + passenger + some decent equipment should be able to map say 10 miles per hour, at a cost of $50 per hour. 200 cars for a year, that's 20 million dollars. And then you have a database that you can sell, and that you can use everywhere. Then write an iPhone app that lets users make corrections, lets businesses add their locations etc. and you are ready.

I'm sure TJMax is rethinking how brilliant their idea is. But is it really illegal? What can Apple do?
It's not "illegal", so there's nothing that could really happen to TJ Maxx. But the 3rd party that supplied them to TJ Maxx COULD lose their ability to receive Apple products (assuming they are a authorized reseller). This happens in my industry all the time (golf course management) with golf equipment, and the major manufacturers always go after these leaks and cut them off. The other thing that happens in my industry is that when a product is purchased from a non-authorized retailer, the manufacturer will typically void any warranty associated with it. I doubt Apple would do that to people who purchased an iPad through TJ Maxx, but if it's legal in the golf equipment realm, it might be within their rights here too.

Hi,
Recently, I've been using guitar rig pro with the Aggregate audio device created in Audi MIDI setup. This Aggregate audio device was composed of the built-in input and the airphones app to output the audio to my ipod, which was connected to my audio system. However, I wasn't happy with the noticable latency, so, I went out and bought a usb sound card, and now, whenever I'm trying to delete the old Aggregate a. device to make a new one, It doesn't do a thing except deselect itself.
It seems as if I cannot modify the Aggregate audio device in any possible way.
HELP!

Oh and you do get wow out of some family sedans, like the BMW 5 series, especially the M5, or some of the Mercs. However, not in the price range of the Malibu..
Those are not family sedans at least not in the US. The 5 series is a luxury car. It's a sedan, but it's not usually called a family sedan.

Can't say I've had any of those issues. I did have one issue with 4.3, and then with 4.3.1 with crazy battery drain. Turned out to be a hosed up Exchange thing. I deleted the email acct, and recreated it and poof. Battery issue fixed.
Looking forward to the "several enhancements" though. Wonder what those are???
